Privacy Policy for ClipMood

Effective date: July 20, 2026

ClipMood (“the App”) is provided by HyivonTech (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how ClipMood accesses, processes, stores, and shares information when you use the App.

1. Summary

ClipMood is a mobile video-clipping application that provides AI-assisted highlight suggestions, manual video trimming, clip exporting, and a saved clip library.

The App is designed so that its core video analysis and editing workflow runs locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives or stores the videos you select for ClipMood’s core editing and AI-scanning features.

ClipMood displays advertisements through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share certain device and usage information as described below.

2. Information processed by ClipMood

Videos and media selected by you

When you choose a video, ClipMood accesses that specific file so it can read the video duration and basic file information, analyze audio events, speech, visual movement, scene changes, and facial reactions, generate AI-assisted clip suggestions, allow manual trimming and previewing, export selected clips, and display saved clips in the App’s local clip library.

Selected videos, temporary analysis files, transcripts, thumbnails, and exported clips are processed and stored locally on your device unless you independently choose to share an exported clip through another application or service.

We do not upload your selected videos or generated clips to a ClipMood-controlled server for the core functionality described above.

Locally generated analysis data

ClipMood may create temporary or cached information on your device, including audio samples used for local analysis, transcript segments generated by an on-device speech-recognition engine, timestamps and scores for suggested clips, thumbnails, temporary video-processing files, and exported clips.

Temporary files may be deleted automatically after processing. Cached transcripts and exported clips may remain on your device until you delete them, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App.

Device storage and media access

ClipMood requests access only when needed for app features such as selecting a video or saving and displaying exported clips. The exact permission behavior may depend on your Android version and device settings.

ClipMood does not use your media library for advertising purposes.

Information we do not directly collect

ClipMood currently does not require you to create an account. We do not directly request or collect your name, postal address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or payment information through the App.

3. Advertising and Google AdMob

ClipMood uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements.

Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google’s configuration, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share information such as IP address, app launches, taps, ad views, diagnostic and performance information, Android advertising ID, App Set ID, and other device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy policies. You can review Google’s privacy policy at:

https://policies.google.com/privacy

Where required, ClipMood may display a Google consent message that lets you make choices about personalized advertising, non-personalized advertising, cookies or local storage, and related data processing. A privacy-options entry point may also be provided in the App’s Settings screen when required.

4. How information is used

Information processed by ClipMood is used to provide AI-assisted highlight detection, manual video trimming, previewing, exporting, saving, searching, and managing clips, improve reliability, maintain temporary processing and transcript caches, display and measure advertisements, comply with legal and platform requirements, and protect the App, users, and advertising systems against abuse or fraud.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your selected videos, exported clips, or locally generated transcripts.

Google AdMob may receive information through the Google Mobile Ads SDK for advertising, analytics, measurement, security, and fraud-prevention purposes.

When you choose to share a clip, the selected file may be passed to another application or service that you select. The receiving application’s privacy practices apply after the file leaves ClipMood.

We may disclose information if required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Data storage, retention, and deletion

Videos, cached transcripts, thumbnails, temporary processing files, and exported clips used by ClipMood’s core functionality are stored locally on your device.

You can remove local ClipMood data by deleting individual saved clips from the App, clearing ClipMood’s app data through Android settings, or uninstalling the App.

Clearing app data or uninstalling ClipMood may permanently delete locally stored settings, caches, transcripts, thumbnails, and saved-clip records. Copies you exported or shared outside the App may remain in other folders, applications, backups, or services until removed separately.

Data processed by Google AdMob is retained according to Google’s own policies and your consent or account settings.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the App’s local-processing design. However, no device, application, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any clips you export or share.

8. Children’s privacy

ClipMood is not designed specifically for children under 13, or the minimum legal age required in a user’s country. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through a ClipMood account system because the App currently does not provide user accounts.

If ClipMood is later offered to children or included in Google Play’s Families program, this Privacy Policy and the App’s advertising and consent configuration will be updated as required.

9. International data processing

Google and its service providers may process advertising-related information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is governed by their applicable privacy terms, safeguards, and legal obligations.

Core ClipMood video analysis remains designed to run locally on your device as described in this Policy.

10. Your choices

You may decline to select a video, remove or deny media permissions through Android settings, delete saved clips and local App data, choose whether to share an exported clip, reset or delete your Android advertising ID through device settings, manage Google advertising preferences, and change advertising consent choices through ClipMood’s privacy-options screen when that option is available or legally required.

Some features may not work when necessary permissions are denied.

11. Third-party services

ClipMood may interact with third-party services selected by you, such as messaging, cloud-storage, social-media, or file-sharing applications. We do not control those services. Their own privacy policies apply to information you send to them.

ClipMood also uses Google AdMob. Google’s privacy policy is available at:

https://policies.google.com/privacy

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when ClipMood’s features, data practices, advertising configuration, legal requirements, or third-party services change.

The latest version will be posted at the public URL used in the Google Play listing. The effective date at the top of the Policy will be updated when material changes are made.
